Re: [WIP] 2013 Hyundai i20 WRC
Is there anyone with an install for 3d max 5. Or is there another way to get my car in the game? Someone offered to do the physics, but I want to test the visuals of the car in the game.

Re: [WIP] 2013 Hyundai i20 WRC
I never used the 3DS Max exporter so I can't help you with that, but you can export in 3ds format, then import into zmodeler 2 and export to RBR. If you're in the first ingame testing phase, I can give you the modder status in order to have access to our private tutorials and tools for car integration if you want. There's also an empty "car template" where you can put your body quickly and test it ingame. I join it to this message, but it's for zmodeler. Once your body imported into zmodeler, you should just have to rename the wheels (or use the existing wheels), rename the body as e_body, and then export to RBR and test. I think everything is explained in the readme file.

Re: [WIP] 2013 Hyundai i20 WRC
Thank you for the info! I will get zmodeler tonight and get some testing done. Does zmodeler3 work too? or do I have to get zmodeler2?

I didn't try zmodeler 3. You can download it and see if there's the RBR exporter/importer plugin, but I think that yes.

In first testing phase now for exterior of the car. How can I change the wheels position?

Re: [WIP] 2013 Hyundai i20 WRC
The wheel positions are in the physics files. you can set ip up with physics creator (attached) but you won't be able to do a good job for the engine as it's turbo charged and physics creator doesn't work well with turbocharged engines.

Re: [WIP] 2013 Hyundai i20 WRC
If the wheel are good in zmodeler and not in RBR, i think it's a problem with the parent position.
The parent and rear wheels aren't in the same "Y" position
It's easiest with a picture:

Re: [WIP] 2013 Hyundai i20 WRC
Aah ok. I might look look into that soon. For now I used the physics of the Suzuki WRC car because that wheelbase comes closer than the impreza.
I'm pretty happy about some tests I did. The exterior looks good. Now I have to get everything else finished up and then do the interior. (seats, roll cage, inside of doors, etc.)
