Hi guys,

I got a problem, when i try to connect public sessions i got an error in rscenter2012 saying "server error. Try again later", and i can't join at first, sometimes i insist a bunch of time (100+, no i am not kidding) and i can pass throw it, although when a pass the first step of public sessions, i got the exact same error when trying to join on host sessions "Server error. Try again later".

so, when i try to login i get this:

Hello,
First of all, modified your profile and add your number and your pseudo of the live.

-Connexion web OK ?
-Have you already been able to connect normally before? If Yes, try a system restore to a date prior to the problem
-Try to manually retype your login in RSCenter (Index)
-Try disabling your anti-virus (Especially Avast - SandBox) and Firewall windows

-Windows 7 and Vista
Modify the list of excluded from Windows Vista data execution prevention / 7
Start Button » Control Panel » System » System and Maintenance.
Click on Advanced system settings. Administrator permission required.
Under Performance, click Settings.
Click on the tab DEP data, then click on "Turn on DEP data for all programs and services except those I select."
Then you click on the button "Add" and you add all the following software:
(they are all at the root of game)
- rscenter2012.exe
- rsrbr3dratio.exe
- RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe
- RichardBurnsRally.exe
- RBR Startup.exe
- RBRdll.exe
- CamHack.exe
- LanceurAddOns.exe
- SETUP_MANAGER2.exe
- SKINS_MANAGER2.exe
- sendreplays.exe
- sendtimes.exe
- SkinsWizard.exe
- 7z.exe (Is visible only after the game)
Save changes, then re-boot your computer and you do a test

If alwaysl problem, give an analysis of your installation
TROUBLESHOOTING UTILITY  (Utilitaire de dépannage)
Download and launch this utility of repair
http://download.rallyesim.fr/DepannageRSRBR2012.exe

Once launched the utility click button "Analyse simple".
When the analysis is completed,DO NOTHING > close the software, go directly to the site, create a new topic or message and right click then "Paste" in the field without removing the text that appears.

Hum...........c'est le même problème que j'ai eu il y a quelques temps. Je trouve que ce soucis revient de plus en plus fréquemment ces temps-ci.

Hi once again :),

First of all thank you very much for the quick answers.

@ Obellix

-Already tried disable av and firewall (eset smart security 4), and the problem continued.
-Before i did a clean install of RBR and RSCenter, i did a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate x64.
-And already put those .exe in the prevention data thing.(followed the tutorial how to install rbr and rscenter in windows 7).

I´m gonna run the depannage tool, and as soon as i get to the pc where i have rbr installed i post the result.

Can i post it in this topic??Or create a new one?

Weird thing, did a fresh install of rbr in my other pc, running a core2duo and a gtx275 with 2gb ram and windows xp sp3 and can play public sessions without any kind of error...
So may be a operative system bug in this pc?

Is this problem happens recently ?
If yes try to restore a previous backup of your operating system to a date when it was OK.

Hi Beu,

I always had this problem in this pc, always got "server error. try again later", no matter how many restores i would make, the result will always be the same.
guess i had to live with that :s.

It's difficult to help you if it's not working on a fresh install ...

By "fresh install", what you mean?
Did you try to install only RBR and RSCenter with your fresh install ?
I mean only with important program (video drivers, sound, internet).
Before installing anything as antivirus or firewall or something which can interfer with your internet connexion.

by fresh install i mean

windows>video, sound and raid drivers>rbr and for last rscenter, updates, track pack and car pack.

in the other pc that is working, i have the exact same software that i have in this one, but the other one is a 32 bit machine running windows xp, and this one w7 ultimate x64.

Hi once again guys,

So yesterday, i decided to try to make rscenter works like it supose to, and did a fresh install of windows one more time, installed the very same programs that i've been using, and installed rbr...and guess what?

RSCenter is now up and running without any kind of errors. Don't know what exactly changed, but it's working!
