I finally installed RSRBR2010 and tried BMW M3 E30  and was quite disappointed to find that the car has been changed from my physics.
This doesn't bother me as long as the car is made more stable - but it isn't.
These changes have made the car very difficult to control. MOI's changed to unrealsitic value - but then that has always been true in RBR - simulated to represent a high powered golf cart.
But that's an old argument best left alone.
The change to 6 speed gearbox OK.
I have no idea about the geometry - just haven't bothered to lay it out - I assume it was based on my stuff posted on BHMS - but then I posted quite a few variations to simulate various different configurations.
I finally deleted everything there because I was probably confusing the issue.
The diff settings just don't work well enough - make the car swap ends too easily and there are is other witchcraft applied that I can't remember at the moment.
I haven't looked at this for about a year. My record keeping has been atrocious on this so would take a while to sort it out.

So as not to appear too negative let me congratulate all involved in producing RSRBR - very difficult and involved process very well carried out.

I wish there was a way to use my own physics in RSRBR but I can understand locking the physics to promote fairness in online play but it would be nice to allow changes so that those who know how can make alterations to beat the other guy. Maybe just restrict VE's and ..........
I could go on and on - but I won't.
Thanks for RSRBR.

Hi Grumpa,
from what i remember, I took your latest physics and just changed the engine curve and the gearbox from real values i had on a magazine. I don't think anyone touched the geometry you did but i must be wrong (I'm not aware of everything regarding RSRBR physics and prefere to trust you about your feeling on your work).

Oh I was totally forgotten this car what I saw about 2 years ago last time. :D  Im currently working on this: viewtopic.php?f=153&t=3949 but when it's released I can help with RWD physics for this project if needed. How is the model now, is it ready or anyone working on it?

It's still a beta car with its bugs. Someone should help me improve it with at least good pivots for hinged objects (doors, hood...) and maybe real damages and some other improvements. But it's in a long process and other cars are in progress which will be done before this one.

I had boring time and started to make new physics for this car and that old mk1 escort beta. Physics are based on my escort cosworth rwd physics and because of that this is not a big job after all, it has been taken only few hours per car for now and the physics are nearly ready. I will upload them in few days if someone would like to try them.

I would appreciate to try that. I have the original torque and power of a group A M3 on my files, plus the gear box ratios ;)
I can give you that but not before the last week of june. You will have to remind me that because i'm like a red fish...

Je l'ai réessayé en j'ai augmenté la puissance des effet combiné et la force de recentrage (140% pour les 2 ) dans le profiler de logitech et ça a rien a voir elle va beaucoup mieux a piloter on la sent vraiment quand elle part
