Ok on Sunday my RBR totaly stopped working, didn`t matter which way i tried to start it either.

So i thought no problem, need a fresh install for RSRBR2012, but still the same after clean install so i uninstalled again, cleaned out my reigstry and nada still woun`t start. just keep getting these damp dump files grrrrrrrrrrr

I eventualy managed to open one of the dump files:-

which means nothing to me

so after some searching i tried using the DepannageRSRBR2012 tool, which took some understanding as it was in French.

I got this message which i translated ""do not copy select nothing on the forum just do a right click and paste it into your post to insert the report `s analysis"

I hope someone can help, i`m dying to try RSRBR2012

Download and run the utilitaire de dépannage de RSRBR. (DepannageRSRBR2012.exe)
Once launched the utility click "1/ Lancer la vérification des fichiers".
When the analysis is completed, close the software, go directly to the site, create a new topic or message and right click then "Paste" in the field without removing the text that appears.
CAUTION: UTILITY TROUBLESHOOTING often evolves, so do not redownload REPLANTING BUT EVERY TIME

Download and launch this utility of repair. utilitaire de dépannage de RSRBR. (DepannageRSRBR2011.exe)
Once launched, click the lower left button "Analyse simple".
Once the ended analysis, selects nothing, copy nothing, return directly here to post a new answer.
In the text field, make a right click and chosen "Paste".

You can put a comment following the report of analysis.

Have you made that :

With Windows Vista / 7
Start Button » Control Panel » System » System and Maintenance.
Click on Advanced system settings. Administrator permission required.
Under Performance, click Settings.
Click on the tab DEP data, then click on "Turn on DEP data for all programs and services except those I select."

Then you click on the button "Add" and you add all the following software:

Save changes, then re-boot your computer and you do a test

Many many thanks guys for your help, i had been having problems with sony vegas saying it had run out of memory and 1 of the things i changed was the DEP settings, so i`ve now changed them back and RBR works again
