Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Hi all,
I use a max steering lock of 792° when I play RSRBR. The settings have to be loaded (or adjusted) every time a stage is played, as you know.
It would be nice if car settings could be loaded automatically, similar to the 'auto bypass profile selection'. An option to turn off pacecars could be done in the same way, as well as starting the stage automatically.
Load settings (in first slot) - DOWN,ENTER,UP,UP,UP,UP,ENTER,ENTER,UP,ENTER,ENTER,ESCAPE Disable Pacecars - UP,LEFT,DOWN Start Stage - ENTER (After either or both of the above commands have been entered)
It would save precious time and I'd be playing my favourite game even sooner! What do you think?

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
About what you speak??? I understand nothing in what you say? I too put 792° but later I back up my setup and I do not any more need to adjust him. Why you speak about the pacecars?? We never use that

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
I'm talking about playing solo mode, not online. I save the settings for each car I use, but they need to be loaded each time before playing. I don't use pacecars, so I turn that off each time too. In the same way that 'auto bypass profile selection' presses enter for you, the program could automatically input the keystrokes to load the settings in the first slot, as well as disable the pacecars. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
You have to setup your original RBR with MULLIGATAWNY profile as you want. Run one stage. At the end, choose "Save progression" and then you can leave the game and your settings will be saved for life !

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Thank you Beu-C,
I did as you suggested, load original RBR, quick rally, disable pacecars, set lock to 792, finish a stage then save progress.
However when I run RSRBR (Launch RSRBR) pacecars are still enabled and max lock is still 504.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
I never run in solo mode. I use this mode only to look at my replays.
It is not because you throw the game in mode "championship" which you have to play on-line, you can stay solo. to play on-line it is necessary " to throw an on-line rally "
Launch the game in mode "championship"
you choose a car and a route and you throw the game clickant on GO.
You go " adjust car " you put your lock on 792 ° and you save the regulation.
The next time, load the setup and you have your lock in 792 ° there is no other solution

Thanks Pace car and max steering are 2 parameters which are not saved in the same way. Normally, tips I give you, can help you to avoid having pace car. But for max steering, You have to save it, just before driving. And you have to load your saved setup each time before driving.

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Yes, I used the MULLIGATAWNY profile. I load the settings and disable pacecars before each stage, my suggestion was to automate this so I wouldn't have to select the options manually. Not a huge time saver but I thought it would be good

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Problem is no automatic function is necessary because everybody except you are able to save their settings and it's automatically loaded at each beginning of stage ... So we just think you are doing something wrong because it's possible to do what you want without our help.

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Why the attitude?
Aren't your two quotes contradicting each other?
"you have to load your saved setup each time before driving." and "everybody except you are able to save their settings and it's automatically loaded at each beginning of stage"
They are not 'automatically loaded at each beginning of stage' and that is the point of my request. How am I doing something wrong if others (and yourself!) confirm settings have to be loaded each time. (Unless I'm very mistaken)
Perhaps what I'm saying is lost in translation.

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Don't worry your english is not so bad ... I can understand your misunderstanding. Remember, I said : Beu-C a écrit: Pace car and max steering are 2 parameters which are not saved in the same way. Normally, tips I give you, can help you to avoid having pace car.
But for max steering, You have to save it, just before driving. And you have to load your saved setup each time before driving. You are talking about 2 parameters which are not saved in the same way. 1) Pace cars : This can be loaded absolutely automatically if you saved it correctly. It's a "general" parameter which is stored in your RBR profile "MULLIGATWNY" 2) Max steering : This is a "specific" parameter related to your CAR setup. You can save multiple setups for each cars. But at the beginning of each stage, you need to choose which one of saved setup you want to run with. Before trying to give you more help (by repeating previous post ...), do you understand what I mean ? Maybe there is a misunderstanding about "pace car" or "max steering". If you think it's possible, pleae show us some screens where you set these parameters. It could help us to be sure what we are talking about. I can't be more precise with my english ...

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Oh Beu-C you cheeky thing I wasn't aware pacecar settings could be stored, but knew you had to load car settings every time - I was just suggesting a way to load individual car settings without having to do it manually, as in the program would load settings for you by inputting the keystrokes you would type anyway - saving about 10 seconds! But nevertheless making it more efficient. We're on the same wavelength, I understand what you mean

Re: Automatic Load Car Settings suggestion
Problem for car setup is lot of driver have several setups for one car, and choose to load the one which is more efficient regarding grip conditions or type of curves ... So we think it's better to be able to select a specific setup for your car at the beginning of each stage. And in this setup, if you set your max steering before saved it, you will have your default value loaded. That's why I think we won't try to work on this "option".
