Hi,

I downloaded and installed the 06 version of RSRBR12 today, also installing the A7K_2 car pack as instructed. After this, the game won`t open longer. Not through RSCenter2012, or through the Richard Burns rally icon. RSCenter works fine, but when I press "GO", Launch RSRBR etc. the screen goes black after loading. Having to force closing the game, I get this message:

Error loading Hedgehog

error loading vertex shader: VertexShaders/General/ObjPosNormalTextureShadow.vso


Does anybody know what this is, and if so, is there a solution, or will I have to reinstall everything again? I had no problems with the game before I updated today. Thanks a lot

Update your graphics card drivers and the latest version of directX .. (depending on your OS)
If you uninstall the update 06, operates the game again?

Ok, I will try that. I installed updates for my graphic card and directX without that having an effect. I will let get back to you when installed the previous version. Is there by the way supposed to be files inside the VertexShaders folder in the Richard Burns Rally directory? In my file system there are none.

I will give the utility a go. But, I have run RSRBR for over a year now without any problems, so I can`t see there being anything wrong with my graphics card. I have installed all updates the way they are supposed to, it is only today I have had problems.

I`ll ask again: Are there supposed to be files in the VertexShaders folder at all?

That could be the problem. Downloading the 06-update again, as the utility didn`t want to run unless I had version 06 installed (it was all in french, which I don`t understand, but I think that was why).

Is there a message error by the utility ?

It seems it wants me to install version 06, as I have 05 installed now (tried to see if that would help the problem).

What is the version of your RScenter ?

Right now it`s v 1.7 - for RSRBR2012 05, as I am still waiting for the download of 06 to finish. I deleted it earlier today, and the last time I downloaded the files were corrupted, so I am trying to download it again.
