Hello everyone!

I'm having a sort of annoying issue. Ever since I reformatted my computer, I can no longer run RBR without running it in compatibility mode for WinXP. If I don't the game will crash mid-race with a stuck sound loop that won't go away until I restart the computer.

This is strange because before I formatted my computer, I could play fine without any compatibility modes. I didn't add any hardware or anything, but now I can't. Is there a way to ensure the game can run without compatibility mode?

I ask this because if I set RichardBurnsrally_SSE.exe to compatibility mode, when running RSCenter and pressing GO, the game will launch normally and drop me off in the main menu. It doesn't choose the track and car that I chose in RSCenter. If I remove compatibility mode, then it launches fine with my RSCenter settings.

So basically, I have two questions:

Can I bypass how to run RBR without compatibility mode?
How can I run RBR with compatibility mode and have it use my RSCenter settings?

What is the original system of your computer ? W7 or XP ?

Edit: I still think it's weird that just because I reinstalled my system, I now need to run the game in compat mode :/
