today I thought I would try and install RSRBR 2014. The last RSRBR I installed was 2012. I started going about doing this and uninstalled everything, but when it came to installing the actual game on the disc, rather than the usual screen that appears, I got the small window that asks about importing pictures and videos; the type of box you get when you plug your digital camera in the USB port.

This is not right is it is it?

Could somebody please help? It's scary!

I realised there is another Richard Burns Rally folder saved on the hard disk. It has applications, folders and files. It does not appear in the add and remove programs list. Can I just delete it to the recycle folder and erase it from there?

I tried going to the "Open folder to view files icon" and then going to Rbr.exe. I get a flash of the screen that you would expect to get when installing the game, but nothing happens after that. There is nothing further that happens.

Can you delete the window to see the woman ?    

It's the rest of RSRBR12 folder, you must remove it manually

Ok, I understand, this is the original RBR disc wich does not run directly. Your RBR game ? > Collection Mindscape ?
Several players have had this problem.

 

Do I delete it by right clicking and selecting delete. Or is there a bit more to it?

If you go to Google images and type in 'Eliza Dusku' you should be able to get the picture itself. Stunning ain't she?

I think it's Sold Out Software. It also has SCI Games and Warthog on the box.

Your RBR installation disk is dead and no longer works.
Download RBR for less than 10 euros ( 8 GBP) and you can install it.

Is that website only available in French?

When you click on "Open folder to view files", what's there as a file in the folder open ?
Can you list them, or post a screenshot ?

Maybe you need to change in the control panel "folder options / View /" uncheck : hide extensions for know flie types.
This will read the "complete" file name in the folder.
