Good evening, I have the classic problem of physics file absent.

Usefull details:

1. Fresh windows 8.1 install.
2. I followed Windows 8.1 instructions word by word (as I always do when I install RsRBR.
3. I tried downloading 7z from original website.
4. I tried all this viewtopic.php?f=4&t=17535
5. When I run the game from richardburnsrally.exe or richardburnsrally_sse.exe it works.

Check that you have a 32 bit version of 7zip utility in the following location: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ 7-Zip  :GGG
Put although the "executable 7z.exe (this place) in the DEP, as shown in the tutorial .
If you do not have one, you can download it at this link: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html  8-)
Note: A 64-bit version in C: \ Programs \ may also exist, it does not interfere with the operation of the previous one .

In Windows 8 tutorial there is no DEP at all if you check the instuctions.

But I tried all .exe files with DEP (as windows 7 instructions say) and without DEP.

I will try 32bit 7z with DEP because I think I didn't try it.

there is a link to the installation of Windows Vista, Windows 7 & 8, which leads you to the installation tutorial in which the DEP is described.
The link below that says "Windows 8, see HERE" ( viewtopic.php?p=412082&f=4#p412082 ) is made to briefly outline the installation,
but especially for the Logitech driver installation, as indicated in the title of the topic: installing RBR / RSRBR & Logitech drivers in Windows 8.  :)

Yes, fifou, I know about that specially for Windows 8.

Anyway, I tried all different combinations you offer me but the same problem....

I have Windows phone now and windows 8 is great because notes, calendars etc sync with phone.. I don't want to go back to windows 7.... :(

If you need I can give you Team Viewer to check my pc....

We never say ton downgrade to W7. Just to apply the same things
