 [SOLVED] RSCenter Championships v2.5.0 does not work and causes problems
Hello

I installed RBR and RSRBR2015 as it was described. As long I used only RSCenter Alone, everything worked fine. Problem appears when I start Championships mode. I can choose race, timer goes and I am waiting few minutes to start a race. When I finally press 'go' button, progress bar goes and in this moment when game should start, nothing happens. And the most interested: after I close RSCenter, nothing works. I cannot start game at all, neither exe files nor in RSCenter. 'Alone' mode doesn't work. Nothing works! The only way is to reinstall everything.
I checked checksum md5 of all my instalation files.

Given the number of missing files, I think a good uninstall "as described in the tutorial" followed by an equally serious installation, should fix the problem .  =;

Tutorial for uninstall / install .

How to checksum :

Checked if your file is not corrupted by downloading this utility:

VoirMD5.exe

Launch it, and drag the file that you downloaded in the small software window.

Image

After a few seconds the md5 sum of the file will appear and you can compare it with the string
displayed in the file download link which you want to check the validity.

I did allready everything what was described in this tutorial. I checked also checksum of all installation files. It didn't help. Problem still exists.

Be sure of the state of your system, pollution due to viruses or some "pups".
Use your usual means of control or, as AdwCleaner or Malwarebyte to make sure you have a healthy platform.

I use Windows 10. And I don't have any healthy problem with my pc, that is sure! I think that RSRBR mod causes problem. It is because problem starts after I try to join to Championships. Before everything works correctly. And btw, DEP is off.

I suppose this is something what RSCenter Championships does with files exactly in this moment when it starts RBR game. I does it permanently så even if I close it and try to start game without RSRBR mod, game doesn't start. I made a copy of RSRBR folder before I started Championschips. Now, after error, when I copy this folder to game folder, it doesn't help. So problem is not in this folder. And one more thing: when I start RBRstartup.exe, I can see that in this window where we can choose graphic card type and resolution, there is NULL / NULL / NULL instead of PLAY / OPTIONS.
In file RichardBurnsRally.ini I changed to RunIntro = true. Now, after I launch game, I can see intro, but right after this, game quits without any message.

Did you check if the BIOS of your hardware includes the "Data Execution Prevention" (Likely found under Settings then "Security")

    Intel XD Bit (Execute Disable)
    AMD: NX bit (No Execute bit)

If this is the case, and you want that your facility is subject to this strategy execution processes, know that this option overrides Windows and does not have "optional parameters".
Choose to disable it in the BIOS, and let active "in Windows" where you can "set" the actions and restrictions.

I don't have such an option in BIOS. In Windows DEP is disabled with command bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff. I also tried to add all RSRBR exe files as exclusions. It didn't solve the problem.
I use 3 monitors. Their native resolution is 1280 x 1024. After I connect them with AMD Eyefinity, it is 3840 x 1010. But I tried both options: with tree monitors and also with only one (of course I changed resolution in RichardBurnsRally.ini file). It didn't solve the problem.

Which antivirus software do you use, and do you set the exclusion of scanning and protection on the path of the main folder of the game, into this software ?  :GGG

Yes, I did set it right in the begining. I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2016.
Interested thing: even if I uninstall RSRBR in controll panel, I still cannot start the game.
I think that exactly in this moment when RScenter championships try to start game something happens what changes some files or just one file outside the mod....

You cant run RBR original if you just uninstall RSRBR, because RSRBR modify some files. Uninstall RBR, clean your registry and install it. Now you can say if RBR original can run or not
