Installed RBR on Win 8 pro 64bit, Installed both patch 1 and patch 2 Started the game, everything works fine But after installing RSRBR 2016 Edition the game doesnt work, nothing happens when i double click on the shortcut, i tried running as an admin but same thing! Any suggestion! |

Installed RBR on Win 8 pro 64bit Give the full path of your installation, you must change the default installation path. Installed both patch 1 and patch 2 Useless, they are included in RSRBR. Started the game, everything works fine …. nothing happens when i double click on the shortcut. Did you do the DEP well? Have you put the complete game folder in the exclusions of your antivirus? Path is not a program files directory, No anti virus, Just installed the game, and both updates (which i didn't know they are already included in RSRBR, thanks), and installed RSRSBR 2016, And added DEP exceptions, and the game started, Installing the track pack, and see if it will work! |

"No anti virus," Do not install antivirus is a suicide, it's not very clever, Your computer will be infected (This may already be the case and the cause of your problem). Just tested the game and RSRBR, and it's working after adding DEP exceptions! Yes indeed Anti viruses are worst then the vireses they claim they protect you from, never been a fan, A solid palemoon or waterfox, even firefox (with at least 450 lines on the user.js, plus all telemetry, health reports and shield studies...disabled) but i wouldn't use firefox because i don't trust mozilla! Ublock origin (medium or hard mode), Umatrix, and a few more extensions and would never need and anti virus And a firewall that can block everything by default and shows you a notification about anyhthing trying to "call home" and a couple of brain cells and you should be fine  |
