Forgive this not being in French...

Basically I just installed RSRBR 2010 got everything updated (through update 5) and its running perfect.  Went to get some cars and downloaded the complete package but upon installing i've run into this error each time:

I've been able to successfully install separate car packs like A8W-08 but the full pack doesn't want to play nice.  I re-downloaded off the 2nd link thinking the file might be corrupt and got the same error.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem, and I install the pack by pack > viewforum.php?f=361

Before downloading again the any cars pack (or other file), try to delete your internet cache.

With FireFox
Menu "Tools" -> "Options" -> select "Advanced" and then go into "Network" tab and then click on "Clear Cache Now"

With Internet Explorer
Menu "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> "General" tab -> Click on "Delete ..." -> Check only "Temporary Internet Files" -> Click on the button "Delete".

You can also check if the downloaded file is healthy by checking the md5 sum :

Check if your file is not corrupted by downloading this utility:
VoirMD5.exe
Starts and drag the file you downloaded in the small window of the software.
After a few seconds the md5 sum of the file will appear and you can compare it with the string displayed under the link to download the file that you want to check the validity.

Im sorry to dig on this but i was having the same problem yesterday and i find that the problem was the security software.
I am using microsoft security essentials and i deactivated it and the pack installed just fine.

hummm Microsoft.....   after Windows it's their software of security that causes problems ....    

Perhaps the problem of windows is .....microsoft  

The problem seems to be the scanning that MSI does on files, and he might think it is some kind of viruses or something.
