I have been trying to download rsrbr 2011 it downloads ok but when ever I try and open the file is keeps saying the file is corrupt this also happens with anything i try and download for rsrbr 2011 has anyone else had this problem mant thanks

I just checked the file on the server and the file is healthy.
You should try using a download manager like "freedownload manager" for example.

You can check if your file is corrupted or not by downloading this utility:
VoirMD5.exe
Starts and drag the file you downloaded in the small window of the software.
After a few seconds the md5 sum of the file will appear and you can compare it with the string displayed under the link to download the file that you want to check the validity.

what has changed i have never had this problem before i dont understand

Nothing changed
The file is like the others, the server is the same like since the begin of the year etc...

just downloading it again with a download manager and will let you know the outcome. I have to say that you guys do a fantastic job and I really appreciate all the help that you give

downloaded with download manager and that fixed the corrupt file problem but now i have another problem when i open rsrbr 2011 it opens ok but when i select to play the green task bar moves across the screen and comes up with no time but the game does not play any ideas would be great I am using Windows 7 ultimate i have installed a new copy of rbr and installed it in
C:\games

Press the "Windows" key (Windows logo) + "Pause" key.
Go to the Advanced tab under "Performance" click the "Settings" button.
In the new window you will in the "DEP data.
You check "Turn on DEP data for all programs and services except those I select:"

With Windows Vista / 7
Start Button » Control Panel » System » System and Maintenance.
Click on Advanced system settings. Administrator permission required.
Under Performance, click Settings.
Click on the tab DEP data, then click on "Turn on DEP data for all programs and services except those I select."

Then you click on the button "Add" and you add all the following software:
