Hi,         I  recently acquired this Microsoft racing wheel however after a weekend of research on the damn thing & numerous hours try to set it up somewhere even near as to how i would like it to handle with my RSRBR  i,ve come to the conclusion that it aint worth the man hours anymore as the crack seems to be that MS don't do any new software to support there old Hardware as they do not make wheels & joysticks no longer. Windows XP SP 3 seems to be your best bet with it as it lets you have the pedals in separate settings from each other other than that i seem to have hit a brick wall   .    Can anyone help me as i have Windows 7 Ultimate 2009 & was wondering if anyone on Rallye-sim could help me resolve this. Many thanks

j'avais le même et je n'ai jamais réussi à le faire fonctionner avec RBR. le volant est reconnu par le PC mais pas de retour de force et pas de pilote pour W7

I had the same and I have never managed to put on him(it) with RBR. the steering wheel is recognized by the PC but no return of strength and no pilot(driver) for W7

Hi cromax,   It was Windows 7 i meant to say in my subject title.     .... I have Force feed-back working its the steering & pedals that i need to config. steering is to sloppy & the pedals are either 0 or 100% as if you were using a control pad there seems to be little diff. even when i alter the filter settings, If i reduced the max steering lock from the default setting of 504 to a lower value would this help !!!. Yeah its the same as the one in the image you left for me to have a look at. So basically it is what it is......       ..I dont understand the thread you left for me to look at as its in french   Soz. I have the original software disk with it as it says for windows 98 or XP i just cant access the control panel is it because of my windows 7..

Il n'est pas possible de faire fonctionner ce périphérique sur Windows 7.
Il n'est que compatible avec les versions 9x de Windows :

Pas de mise à jour à attendre non plus, ce genre de périphérique a été abandonné par Microsoft depuis 9 ans.

It is not possible to make work this peripheral on Windows 7, as I have him to you say, I had the same steering wheel and I have to throw it the because impossible to use it  
He is only compatible with versions 9x of Windows:

                           for the support, yeah you've confirmed what i was thinking all along.....    too old then, it was worth a try i suppose.....    just cant afford to splash £250 on a gaming wheel (at the minute) & justify it to the wife     ....Do you know if a logitech Momo wheel would work with windows 7 because i can get one of those from E-Bay for £40.      .
