You are looking for split axis between the triggers, yes?
I think I have a fix, only a slight problem

I am posting in English and the driver installation instructions are in Japanese

I will copy and paste another post I found with the answer I found some time ago, but have not put into effect, until tonight. I hope it works too, wish me luck.

Hello folks. I have had the same issue myself for a couple months now. I found a solution that will give the wireless 360 controller independent trigger control in RBR. Its a driver called x360wc. You can get it for pretty much any version of widows here:
http://www.katch.ne.jp/~morii/driver/x360wc/index.htmlYou will need to set the triggers up in the driver for it to work in RBR and there are lots of options for customizing. But I warn you there are some draw backs to using it that I found undesirable.
1. There is an English version but the readme.txt is still in Japanese (google translate can give a partially understandable translation)
2. If you decide you don't want to use the driver no longer, it's a royal pain in the ass to get rid of. (registry editing, deleting files from System32 folder, etc.)
3. From my limited experience I noticed that Dirt 2 will no longer recognised the 360 controller. I didn't play around in Dirt 2 for very long but the controller didn't show up with its default settings. Only the keyboard showed up for me. (Starfox550 says "why would you want to play Dirt 2?"

)
I also tried it in NFS: Shift and just needed to remap the controller in the game. I forgot to see if the d-pad still shifted the camera view from side to side.
From my experience this driver worked perfectly in RBR for me but gave me grief elsewhere. I'm still looking for a better solution if there is one.

And for you....
I too
have had this problem, the 360 controller needs some deadzone, these controller settings (Filters) should do the job. Use them as a base setting and adjust them to your preference. As had been said a wheel is always better, but now I can play RSRBR '11 on my laptop pc
