 [RESOLVED] Subaru Impreza 2000 N4_2 tarmac Mod problem
Hi,
I was trying to find some similar problem on forum but I didn't.
I have problem with N4_2 pack car but only with Subaru impreza 2000. When I am trying to drive some tarmac stages these stages are not loaded and I am back to RSCenter from the game. For example I choose Subaru impreza 2000, choose England, Falstone in Gravel Mod - everything goes ok the stage is loaded properly and I can go through this stage but when I change the Gravel Mod to Tarmac Mod when the stage is loading suddenly I am back to RSCenter. I have no problems with other cars even from this group.
Strange is that yesterday I didn't have that kind of problem everything was working. I was trying everything even reinstalled whole RBR and RSRBR with all updates and patches (after update I reinstalled pack cars as mentioned A8-99, A8-00 and N4_2) and still the same – Tarmac Mod doesn’t work. I can’t go French Cup, Polish championship and others rallies because of this problem. I mention that in garage in most of rallies I have Subaru Impreza 2000 N4_2 as my car. I had no problems in week6 so what happened?

Hi,

Can you give more place for the game on your computer (rest: 16Go)?
Then, make a defragmentation of your hard disk where is your game.

Try again and tell us what's happen.

I did what you write and still the same (free available space now is over 22 Gb and defragmentation is done). I asked my friends from stable to verify it and try to choose Subaru Impreza 2000 on their PCs and they have the same problem. This car works only on Gravel Mod (Tarmac and Snow Mods don’t work). I am wondering why yesterday everything was fine and today suddenly some problem appeared… Have you tried to drive this car on Tarmac Mod on your PC? I am curious if you will have the same problems.

Tomorrow, I'll try it and if I have problem, tell to PHIL63 if he can look why it don't work as soon as possible. We give a new update on a few days normaly...

I had all updates and all patches installed and everything was working properly.
Yesterday I had some training on tarmac stages with this car.
Today I just turned on my pc, I lunched RSCenter and it didn't work. Just stop working without the reason. After that I reinstalled whole game but it didn’t help unfortunately  :(

Hey gustaffo,

The Impreza 2000 comes with a "Kenya Kit" enabled. It's a snorkel as used in the Safari rallye.

It doesn't work on Tarmac or Snow stages however, and causes the game to crash.

download/file.php?id=5690 Replace your IMPREZA00 folder (in RBR/Cars/) with that, and the Kenya Kit will be disabled, and you should be fine to drive on Tarmac and Snow now.

Edit: I should mention that RSRBR overwrites the .ini files with frequency. If you use this tool viewtopic.php?f=68&t=4302  and copy and paste the new .ini file for the N4_2 Subaru and also the A8W_00 Impreza and save them. That should prevent RSRBR from overwriting the ini's and putting the Kenya Kit back on.

It works  =D>  I have read something about this "Kenya Kit" but in the most cases there was some problem with textures as I remember so that why I didn't link to my case...
