Hi there.

I did all the steps for the instalation of RBRSBR and it says "invalid fingerprint" when i try to launch it.

I have some issues installing track packs, some files missing apparently,but i did all the things a million times by the steps on the tuturial.

I would really enjoy playing the game but i couldnt do it. I can only play The old Richard Burns that i have in other folder.

Do you guys know how could i solve this problem?

*BTW, i tryed to use compability mode already, my OS is windows 8.

Verify if your file is not corrupted by downloading this utility:
VoirMD5.exe
Lances and make slide the file which you downloaded in the small window of the software.
At the end of a few seconds the sum md5 of the file appears and you can compare it with the chaine posted under the link of download of the file the validity of which you want to verify.



Make that for all files for tracks (7 files)

If one of them is bad, dowload it again, but empty your internet cache and cut antivirus software

Must see this first : Erreur/error invalid fingerprint [fr/eng] .

Did all the steps.

I watched for corrupt files but i found nothing. reistalled and same happened, at like 80 per cent instalation on the track pack it becomes poping errors, in like textures from tracks 41 to 61 i think.

I pressed ignore those errors. Tryed everything but i get them everytime.Then i cant launch rbsbr because of "invalid fingerprint" error.

I tried so many things already.Not a single one worked so far. I would be greatfull if you guys could identify the problem here because i dont think i can fix it on my own.

You check each file for MD5 sumn ? 6 .bin & 1 exe ?

Is it the 1rst time you install RBR or/and RSRBR ?

Where do you buy your original game ? CD / Download file ?

i downloaded it.Is it mandatory to have an original version? didnt even knew they still sell the game, it is so old...

I downloaded the realoded version of the game with torrent. Is that a problem?

Well.somehow i made it through. But now anther thing happens. I get a message saying " configuration file absent". Where do i solve it?

I wonder why I waste my time to propose any problem watching behind your message "invalid ...."
Your game RBR / RSRBR is certainly not installed in accordance with the tutorial.
See also :  Install under Vista/Windows 7 & 8 in the following secction :          "Install your game and RSRBR"

Start with that and you will see your file problems once certain that you have properly installed.

To confirm your configuration, download the Utilitaire de dépannage RSRBR 2015 (troubleshoting tool), perform a full scan and post the results in your reply.
After the analysis, just go to your message and "paste" the report content that is automatically stored in memory .
You can comment after block of information that will be set up.
